I worked with Noble Hard Cider to develop a label design system for 7 flavors of cider. The labels feature strong typography, bold eye-catching shapes, and witty characters that are not your typical nobles.
Unlike many traditional hard cider companies, Noble wanted to have a playful label that was full of personality, more like a design for craft beer packaging. Working with illustrator Saro Lynch, we brought the owners’ characters and their stories to life.
Each flavor started with a 750ml bottle design and then was modified for smaller bottles to fit in their four pack.
This poster design and branding was created for the event Greenway Glow for the Friends of Connect Buncombe organization. Focusing on the idea of transportation and connectivity, a simple sans serif typeface was altered to resemble mapped routes.
The challenge? Developing a dynamic and colorful brochure for Asheville Community Theatre that incorporates functional calendars and show detailed information.
As lead designer on the 2014 Season marketing materials, I was given the opportunity to design the show posters and season brochure for six plays and musicals. I decided to design a logo for each show that is iconic and representative of the time period and personality of the play.
The brochure features all of the shows and is used to sell tickets and passes to the performances. I decided to represent all of the shows on the cover and treated them in a retro sign fashion. Reminiscent of a street in Nashville or New York, these colorful signs add a pop of color and interest to the cover. The bold inside follows the same style as the posters and cover.
